WTH is up with Michelle Obama Taking Vacations?

You know, when we had Bush as president, people on the left (you know, the democrats, the liberals) had a field day with his vacations. Yelling about how with all the problems, why is he at his ranch in Texas? Not really reporting or wanting people to know that he took working vacations. But not one damn word really from the same leftists about our president and his wife taking so damn many vacations! How about 8 freaking vacations just this summer so far? And the latest? Michelle taking her daughters and 40 (yes 40) friends to SPAIN!!!!!Anyways, read on here:

Michelle Obama today faced a fresh wave of attacks over her lavish break in Spain with 40 friends, which could easily cost U.S. taxpayers a staggering £50,000 a day.

The First Lady has been lambasted for her extravagance at a time when the economy is still struggling. One blogger went so far as to brand her a modern-day Marie Antoinette.

And her critics will be further annoyed when they learn that the president’s wife had a Spanish beach closed off today so that she, her daughter and their entourage could go for a swim.

For a start, they will be paying for the 60 rooms booked at the 129-room Hotel Villa Padierna. With basic rooms starting around £380 each, the nightly bill will be no less than £22,800.

Spanish newspaper El Mundo detailed the Obamas’ dinner on their first night in Spain. The tapas menu for the delegation included sea bass tartare, strawberry gazpacho and sardines, followed by a main course of lobster with seaweed risotto.

The meal cost about £40 a head, according to El Mundo – which means a bill topping £1,600 would have hit the table if all 40 friends dined together.
Stretched over five nights that’s £8,000 for dinner alone.

The per diems for the secret service team runs at around £172 each, which amounts to nearly £60,000 for the length of the summer break.
Use of Air Force Two, the Air Force version of a 757, comes in at £91,900 for the round trip. This does not include time on the ground.
Mrs Obama’s personal staff, of which there are an unknown amount and who might cost considerably more per day, also have to be taken into account.

The American public will also cover the cost of the only official part of the holiday, a visit to the Spanish royal family on the island of Majorca.
This will involve transport there and back for the entourage – as well as travel, accommodation, food and expenses for all while on the island.

Conservative estimates already put the total cost at £150,000. With Majorca to come, the bill will be more like £250,000.

Back in the U.S., anger was mounting – especially as it has emerged the First Lady will have enjoyed eight holidays by the end of the summer.

Now my question is this: are we, the USA taxpayers, paying for her and her friends? Look at the freaking costs of this Spanish jaunt. Here we are suffering, people on layoff status, lucky to get something for unemployment, and bam! Michelle Obama spends a fortune to go on vacation. Something is wrong with our president and his prima donna wife!

The Obama family has said it will pay for “personal expenses.” Now you and I know that all the security, the personal staff, Air Force One, transport, and the accommodations and food while on the island is paid for by all of us taxpayers! And let me mention that on Michelle and her daughter’s return they are setting out on a 10-day vacation on Martha’s Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts. Another freaking vacation! While people in the USA are suffering, the woman is acting like a freaking QUEEN!!! She probably jokes with her buddies “oh hell let them eat cake!”.

Reporting from Washington — As the economy endures high unemployment and a jittery stock market, President Obama has preached sacrifice and fiscal discipline. But the pictures coming out of a sun-splashed Spanish resort this week may be sending a different message.

First Lady Michelle Obama is in the midst of a five-day trip to a luxury resort along with a few friends, her youngest daughter, aides and Secret Service personnel. Her office said the family will pay for personal expenses, but won’t reveal the taxpayer cost for the government employees.

Critics portrayed the foreign getaway as tone-deaf to the deep economic anxiety back home. Earlier in the week, the first lady was photographed walking through the streets of the Costa del Sol region wearing a one-shouldered Jean Paul Gaultier top.

Every first family takes vacations. The criticism aimed at Michelle Obama is that she chose to visit a foreign country rather than remain in the U.S. and support its fragile economy.

The opulence of the European trip also has drawn scrutiny. The president has urged frugality in lean economic times. He once cautioned that families saving money for college shouldn’t “blow a bunch of cash in Vegas.”

Think about this one people. That we have a freaking president who says one thing and does another! He preaches that all Americans (that is you and I , the small people) have to save our money. Yes, we have to save what little we have while he and his family are sucking hard at the taxpayers tits to enjoy one vacation after another.

I don’t think Barack and Michelle really care about the pain and suffering of the public, as long as they can take vacations and have US pay the freaking bills.
Remember this when you go vote! We do NOT need anyone in government, from the president and his wife to any senator or representative who spend public money like it was their money to spend and who could care less about where that money is coming from. I don’t care if it is a democrat or republican, if they spend, vote them out. In fact, I have always been a firm believer in this: NEVER VOTE FOR THE INCUMBENT! REGARDLESS OF PARTY OR WHO IT IS.
